Welcome to the OOW: OUMMCBNOM of the World. The OOW is the current project of suburbanunderground.org, a small publisher dedicated to empowering young writers. suburbanunderground.org is the brainchild of a select group of media magnates, educational pioneers, and healthcare practioners who operate behind the scenes and via teleconference to help fledgeling publications like the OOW take their first tentative steps toward revolutionizing 21st century media. In operation since 1961, suburbanunderground was the launching pad of some of today's most well respected figures in media, literature, and the arts, including Sam Donaldson, Thomas Pynchon, and Prince.

That is a lie.

We moved to suburbanunderground.org last November from geocities.
We've never even read anything by Thomas Pynchon.
Sometimes we listen to Prince on the radio.
But we don't own any Prince CDs.
Is Sam Donaldson the one with the eyebrows?

Here is our actual story: the OOW grew out of the OUMMCBNOM, the Official Unofficial Meenie Meenie Chillie Beenie Newsletter of Michigan, which was founded in 1991 and published by the office staff's father on his copy machine at work. In 1997, the OUMMCBNOM, for reasons we believe to be self-evident, became OUMMCBNOM: The College Years. Today, we are the OOW: OUMMCBNOM of the World. We hope that, in the coming months and years, we can become the OUMMCBNOM of your world, a trusted source for relevant and incisive news in a world that is revolving faster than it ever has before.

We welcome your contributions, and we're sorry about what we said about Sam Donaldson's eyebrows. That was very unprofessional.

The OOW pages are currently under construction in the sense that sometimes, allegedly monthly (except for the link of the week, which is updated weekly), we update them.
